With sustainability at the core of
every product manufactured, J+J/Invision has adopted The
Designers Accord. The goal of the Designers Accord is to
bring the creative community together as a social and
cultural force to create positive impact. As a Designers
Accord member, J+J/Invision and all members have access
to a community of peers that share methodologies,
resources and experiences around environmental and
social issues in design.
The Designers Accord challenges members to adopt a set
of guidelines that include the commitment to support
sustainable design and dedication to track their own
carbon footprint.
Through our EnAct® initiatives we have already answered
this challenge by significantly reducing wastewater
discharge, water consumption, electrical consumption,
solid waste production and natural gas consumption on
our campus.
