Commercialon® Premium Modular Adhesive
DESCRIPTION
A high strength acrylic latex-based carpet adhesive specifically formulated for bonding modular PVC backed carpet to the floor. This premium adhesive is for use with all J+J/Invision Nexus® Modular Tile products. This adhesive is guaranteed for the life of the installation when used in accordance with the J+J/Invision Carpet Installation Handbook. Commercialon® Premium Modular Adhesive meets the CRI Low-VOC Emission Criteria, CRI ID# PSA-425402. Commercialon® Premium Modular Adhesive is non toxic, has ultra-low odor and is anti-microbial in the dry state.
SPECIFICATIONS
A. Approved Backings: Commercialon® Premium Modular Adhesive is a premium flooring adhesive designed for all vinyl, PVC, polyurethane, and EVA backed modular carpet.
B. Approved Floors: Virtually all smooth surfaces including non-porous substances like marble, terrazzo, existing resilient flooring, concrete (above, on, or below grade in the absence of excessive alkali or moisture.)

TYPICAL COVERAGE
Carpet Tiles – 140 sq. yds. per 4 gallon bucket. Full and complete coverage of the carpet back must be obtained while maintaining full coverage of the floor.
OPEN TIME
For a releasable bond, allow adhesive to dry before laying vinyl carpet tiles. Note. Laying vinyl carpet tiles into wet adhesive will result in a permanent installation.

CLEAN UP
Wet adhesive may be removed with warm soapy water. Dampen white cotton toweling and blot to remove (do not rub). Dry adhesive may be removed using the same dampen and blot technique with safety solvent.
LIMITATIONS
For professional use only. Not for use where moisture vapor transmission exceeds 3 pounds, or where high alkalinity conditions exist. If pH is higher than 9.0, take measures to lower the pH to 7.0-9.0. Calcium chloride testing for moisture vapor transmission must be conducted according to ASTM F1869-98.
DIRECTIONS
J+J/Invision requires a full spread adhesive system for the most trouble free installation. Fully spread Commercialon® Premium Modular Adhesive using a 3/8" foam roller. Allow to completely dry so adhesive does not transfer when touched. The spread rate for Commercialon® Premium Modular Adhesive is approximately 140 sq. yds. per four gallon bucket.
Note: Inadequate amounts of adhesive can cause modules to shift and move and will not be covered under warranty. Warranty coverage requires the use of Commercialon® Premium Modular Adhesive. J&J Industries will not be responsible for the adhesive bond where other adhesives have been used.
SITE CONDITIONS
The floor temperature must be a minimum or 65 degrees F and the RH (relative humidity) a maximum of 65%. These conditions must be maintained a minimum of 48 hours prior to installation and continually maintained 24 hours per day, 7 days per week and at least 72 hours following completion or the installation. Floor must be a sound, clean, smooth and even plane. It should be free of dust, depressions, protrusions, and paint, existing adhesive, curing agents, parting compounds, oil, grease and any other contaminant that may prevent the required adhesion of the carpet system backing to the floor.
