J+J/Invision Introduces Light - Aura and Diffusion
The much anticipated modular collection, Light, is making its debut into the J+J/Invision product line. Light’s two carpets, Aura and Diffusion, are unlike anything we have introduced to the market before and are sure to catch the attention of many of your customers.
Aura, the larger-scale pattern, and Diffusion, the complementary smaller-scale pattern, are designed to illustrate the beauty of light reflection with the intent to create the effects of reflectivity, shimmer and iridescence through both pattern and color. Each are soft, textured products that use the variation of colors in the yarn and a mixture of textures to create a quiet but complex appearance. These patterns play with areas of varying density with sections of the design that are tighter and more defined, contrasted against others that are more loose and open. All of the variations come together to achieve a pattern with a constantly changing appearance from tile-to-tile providing a unique look in any environment.
The colorline of Light features nine colorways ranging from light to deep shadowy colors. The goal was to apply hue to the patterns in a way that mimics the iridescent quality you see in bubbles. This was done by using subtle bands of color, carefully transitioning from one to the next, imitating the shimmer of a bird feather or the interior of a seashell. Within those bands we incorporated larger, more solid areas of quiet color that appear washed in light. Each tile reveals a range of hues that morph from one into another, creating colorways that undulate gently across the floor.
Aura and Diffusion are manufactured using our Encore® SD Ultima® nylon. These products are modular only and are standard on eKo® backing.
